Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

SimplyActive is owned and written by Omar Abdelrehim, a disabled US Navy veteran and small-business owner. This page explains, in plain English, how the site makes money and how that affects (and doesn't affect) what you read here.

The short version

Some links on SimplyActive are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. You don't pay anything extra. Our recommendations are our own, and we'll tell you when a tool isn't a good fit, even when it has an affiliate program.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a product's website. If you click it and sign up or buy, the company may pay SimplyActive a commission or referral fee. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you went to the site directly. Sometimes an affiliate link includes a discount or extended trial, and we'll say so when it does.

Which links are affiliate links

We currently have, or may have, affiliate relationships with companies whose products we review, including:

  • HighLevel (GoHighLevel)
  • MeetGeek
  • Snov.io

Affiliate links appear in reviews, comparison pages, the homepage, our free checklist, and our emails. Each page that includes affiliate links has a short disclosure near the top.

How we keep reviews honest

  • Commissions don't buy ratings. No company pays for a positive review or a higher ranking.
  • We say who should skip a tool. Every review includes cons and "probably not a fit if…" guidance.
  • We cite official sources. Prices and features come from the vendor's official website, with a link so you can check them yourself. Prices change, so always confirm before you buy.
  • We separate research from experience. Reviews are based on research and official documentation unless clearly marked as first-hand experience. We don't publish made-up testimonials or results.
  • We cover alternatives, including ones we don't earn anything from.

Free products and sponsorships

If a company ever gives us free access, a free product, or payment to review or feature something, we'll disclose that clearly on the page where it appears. SimplyActive does not currently accept sponsored reviews.

Why we tell you this

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that endorsements disclose any "material connection," such as a commission, between a reviewer and a company. Beyond the rules, it's just the right thing to do. You deserve to know how we're paid so you can weigh our advice. Learn more in the FTC's guidance: FTC's Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking.

Not professional advice

Our content is general information to help you compare software. It isn't legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice. If your business has specific requirements (for example, HIPAA or call-recording consent laws), confirm them with a qualified professional and the vendor.
